I spent my kid & teen years flailing through my own BIG feelings while trying to keep my shit together so that EVERYONE ELSE would feel better.

The one thing I aced was to keep my mouth shut, head down, and nose to the grind. I had a hard shell on the outside and sloshy guts on the inside that spilled out at THE worst times EVER.

Each buried feeling fed into an EMOTIONAL VORTEX that made my life & relationships a living hell. ONE small thing would pull me (+ those nearby) into a hot, sticky mess of god-knows-what feelings.

This x 20 years made me LOSE MY SHIT.

(Cue anxiety + depression + SO. MANY. years of therapy.)

…and therapy was a lifesaver. I learned:

my feelings weren’t BAD,
just
MISUNDERSTOOD.

From there, I became a therapist who helps people know what to do with their BIG feelings, especially in relationships with those who don’t do feelings AT ALL.

I came up with a 3-step framework that helped me (+ many others) unravel our tangled ball of feelings as simply as tugging on a smooth ribbon.

And just like that - my Emotional Vortex lost its speed.

    No need to do these all in one sitting, or to even finish all the units in one round! Break ‘em up and fit them into your schedule however you wish - maybe 15 min per day, or 1-2 hours a week!
